Soof is an Egyptian-American multi-disciplinary artist with musical roots dating back to the early days of the Arab-American hip-hop scene. Over the course of almost three decades, Soof has worn the shoes of artist, DJ, producer, label-runner and more. Early in his career, he shifted his focus to working behind the scenes, producing and songwriting for other artists and connecting and lifting the voices of Arab artists around the diaspora. In 2020, Soof renewed his commitment to working as a performing artist.

Since re-emerging, he’s been blessed to perform on stages around the world and has released a number of hip-hop singles and collaborations including the acclaimed Jay-Z remix album Jai Hov. With several projects coming out in the next year, Soof promises to bring you good vibrations at the sonic nexus of vintage and fresh. Soof lives in sunny California with his wife and two boys where he is grateful to have direct access to nature’s most vast inspirations in the sand and the water.
